Aberdeen
Oh, Winter's come to us all,
after Fall,
in the City of the
Dee and Don
Mighty's work is
done.
rain, wind, sleet,
downpour
ice and snow -
white contour
Ah, Spring is the
next one to be
we shall soon see,
Duthie, Hazlehead
and Seaton are to bloom
for the flowers,
plenty of room
mild, haar and cool
are words to be said
as thunder and gales will already have fled
Ah, Summer, Summer
a thousand times
at least for the
rhymes, aye!
dry and cool -
never even warm, ever
in the sea,
bottle-nose dolphins are the clever
sunsbeams might be
rare, only for the sheeps and cows
for there, we
shall only see clouds
Autumn, the
fairest one of all,
when wee leaves fall,
stronger winds gusts come
around to blow
the amber and
red leaves which are the stars to glow
for once the year is almost gone
and another Winter is about to come.
